We hired Classic Rides’ lovely Daimler Century for a jaunt and a summer picnic out in the Wairarapa countryside. Owners Jane and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful and provided us with all we needed to enjoy the day.  The car was clean, comfy, characterful and in excellent order as we meandered along the country roads with one of the maps provided.

We would highly recommend their rides as they have a fleet of cars that may appeal to many for any number of activities.

Thanks Classic Rides!

Give an experience, with a gift voucher from Classic Rides

We all know someone who is just so hard to buy a gift for, or how difficult it is to come up with something different for a special person.

A gift voucher from Classic Rides will enable someone to hire any of our classic cars, or any combination; and it is valid for 12 months, so they can choose to redeem it whenever it suits them.

Classic Cars & Beautiful Wairarapa Wedding

Last weekend Classic Rides provided classic transport for a beautiful Wairarapa wedding on a glorious summer afternoon. The wedding cars looked splendid driving down country roads to deliver the bridal party to the stunning rural location.

Our thanks to Nat and Matt for inviting us to contribute to their special day.

Our Daimler Conquest Century (The Old Dame) was brand new, and had just been sold by Gee Motors of Napier to its first owner.

You can hire this classic 1950’s luxury car and find out why  Autocar magazine said “The Conquest Century is one of those cars that is right, absolutely right.”

Book a Classic Rides car in July and August – save 25% on hire fees

The booking can be for any time, as long as it is made in July or August.

However, winter is a great time to experience the Wairarapa countryside, the roads are quieter and so are the cafes.

And don’t dismiss open top cars just because it is winter. On a crisp clear day, put on warm hats and gloves, turn up the heating, drop the hood and enjoy truly invigorating motoring.  If the weather should turn nasty, just put the hood up, keep cosy and pop into the nearest cafe for a hot coffee.
